The Black Diamond Dry 8.9 is a climbing rope with a dry-treated core and cover that protects the ropes from the inside against wet weather. The 2X2 Weave construction ensures that the standard cover of this single/double/twin rope easily withstands everyday use. The ratio of durability and handling. Our purpose-built climbing ropes strike the right balance between durability and ease of use, and are neither too stiff nor too soft. The comfortable handling enables easy tying of knots and easy passage through belay devices.
