Description

Blue Ice Aero Ice Screw – Ultralight Ice Screw for Technical Ice Climbing and Mountaineering

The Blue Ice Aero Ice Screw is engineered for climbers who demand maximum performance with minimal weight. By combining a lightweight aluminium tube with a durable chromoly steel tip, it delivers outstanding strength while significantly reducing the weight carried on long alpine routes and ice climbs.

Its aggressive steel teeth penetrate hard ice quickly, while the lightweight aluminium body keeps the rack as light as possible without compromising reliability.

Why Choose the Blue Ice Aero Ice Screw?

Every gram matters on multi-pitch ice routes and alpine ascents. The Aero Ice Screw has been designed to reduce the weight of protection while maintaining the performance required for demanding climbing objectives.

The integrated folding crank allows fast installation and removal, improving efficiency during leads and belays, even when wearing winter gloves.

What Makes the Aero Ice Screw Special?

The hybrid construction combines the durability and cutting efficiency of a chromoly steel tip with the lightweight benefits of an aluminium tube. This innovative design offers one of the best weight-to-strength ratios available for technical ice climbing.

Each screw length is colour coded, allowing climbers to identify the correct size quickly while climbing.
