Ocun Bullit Petrol/Red – Performance Climbing Shoes for Modern Bouldering
The Ocun Bullit is a soft and sensitive performance climbing shoe designed for demanding bouldering indoors and on rock. Its Asymmetrix last combines pronounced asymmetry with a slight downturn, supporting precise foot placements, dynamic moves and controlled footwork on modern volumes.
The soft construction provides direct contact with the climbing surface. This makes the Bullit particularly effective for smearing, toe hooks and technically demanding boulder moves.
Asymmetrix Last with a Pre-Tensioned Arch
The strongly asymmetric Asymmetrix last concentrates the front of the shoe towards accurate foot placements. Its slight downturn supports power transfer on small footholds and during movements on steep terrain.
A pre-tensioned arch stabilises the shoe and keeps the foot securely positioned during demanding moves. Despite its performance-oriented shape, the Bullit remains relatively soft and provides direct feedback from the foothold.
CAT Rubber 1.5 and 3D Toe Patch
The four-millimetre CAT Rubber 1.5 outsole provides reliable grip on volumes and varied climbing surfaces. Combined with the soft 2D Toe Soft midsole, it creates a sensitive and flexible feel.
The three-dimensionally shaped toe patch increases the rubber-covered contact area above the toes. This provides additional grip for toe hooks and technical climbing movements.
Secure Fit with a Single Velcro Strap
The Bullit combines a slipper-style construction with a single low-profile Velcro strap. The closure makes the shoe easy to put on and remove while helping prevent it from rotating around the foot.
Its seamless heel construction improves comfort during longer training sessions. The upper is made from dimensionally stable microfiber.
Fit and Sizing
Ocun recommends the Bullit particularly for regular-width feet and Greek or Roman toe shapes. With a Greek foot shape, the second toe is longer than the big toe. Roman feet have front toes of a relatively similar length.
Many climbers select the Bullit in their regular street or sports shoe size. For a tighter performance fit, Ocun recommends choosing half to one size smaller. The shoe should fit closely without unwanted empty space but should not create painful pressure points.
