The Salewa Alptrek 42 was developed for long distances. A comfortable trekking backpack made of light, very abrasion-resistant nylon with a fully adjustable carrying system and a capacity of 42 liters. It also offers the option of adding another five liters using the height-adjustable compartment in the lid. The lid is removable and can be used as a single carry bag. Our easily adaptable Dry Back Custom carrying system has an adjustable back length and anatomically shaped, padded shoulder and hip straps for an individualized fit. In addition, load control straps enable an optimal fit on the back over long distances. The pre-shaped hip fin guarantees a tight fit and good load transfer to the hips. Large compartments offer plenty of space for spare clothes or tent poles. The main compartment can be accessed from both the front and the side, so you can access your gear quickly and easily. Everything that should be quickly accessible while hiking, without having to take off your backpack, finds its place in the outer pockets. This backpack is compatible with the Salewa hydration bladder holder. It is also designed for a hydration system and has an ice ax / stick attachment, rope holder as well as load control and side compression straps. Further features are: rain protection, practical removable rubber loops for attaching additional equipment and attachment loops for a sleeping mat.
