Edelrid Cable Kit VI – Compact Via Ferrata Set
The Edelrid Cable Kit VI is a compact via ferrata set with elastic arms, One-Touch II carabiners and an energy absorber compliant with EN 958:2024. Its close-to-body construction provides comfortable handling when clipping along the steel cable.
The abrasion-resistant elastic arms are made from high-strength HMPE and extend to a length of 92 cm. Their elastic construction keeps the carabiners within comfortable reach without allowing the arms to hang unnecessarily far from the body.
One-Touch II Carabiners
The ergonomically shaped One-Touch II carabiners feature a large gate opening and can be operated with one hand. According to Edelrid, their construction prevents fingers from being pinched between the steel cable and the gate.
This makes the Cable Kit VI suitable for via ferrata users looking for straightforward clipping and a compact overall construction.
Energy Absorber According to EN 958:2024
The compact tear-webbing energy absorber is designed for a total user weight between 40 and 120 kg. Clothing and all carried equipment must be included when calculating the total weight.
Edelrid specifies low impact forces across all intended weight classes. The system also complies with EN 958:2024 in the event of 180° incorrect use.
A short-rest loop is positioned directly on the energy absorber. The via ferrata set must only be used in accordance with the supplied manufacturer's instructions.

A storage bag is included for transport and storage. The Cable Kit VI is made in Germany and weighs 514 g.
