Petzl Crevasse Rescue Kit – Complete Hardware Set for Crevasse Rescue
The Petzl Crevasse Rescue Kit contains the essential hardware for setting up a haul system or ascending a rope after a crevasse fall. The compact rescue set is designed for glacier travel on foot or skis and for alpine self-rescue situations.
All included components are functionally coordinated. With a total weight of 355 g, the kit can be carried on alpine and glacier tours without adding unnecessary weight to the equipment.
Equipment and Performance
The Micro Traxion combines an efficient pulley with a progress-capture mechanism. It holds the rope that has already been pulled through and forms a central component when setting up a haul system.
The Tibloc functions as an ultra-lightweight emergency ascender. It can be used for rope ascent or as an additional progress-capture device within an appropriate rescue system.
The Rescue S is a lightweight and compact pulley that helps improve the efficiency of a haul system. Two oval OK Screw-Lock carabiners support effective positioning of the connected devices and components.
A 120 cm ST’ANNEAU sling completes the kit and can be integrated into the selected system according to the rescue technique being used.
