The Instinct Lace by Scarpa is made of microfibre and leather upper material, which is made of 5 cut parts that are sewn together so that the shape hugs the foot perfectly without causing pressure points. The bi-tension system gives the midfoot a perfect balance between support, flexibility and edge stability. The midsole, a Flexan insert, supports the foot when standing small steps and the moderately asymmetrical shape of the shoe as well as the medium downturn and the moderate toe box ensure perfect power transmission and a precise tip. The Vibram® XS Grip2 rubber layer on the heel and the toe patch in the toe area ensure exceptional hooking properties. The supporting Vibram® XS Edge sole rubber is grippy and provides good support on small steps.
