La Sportiva Solution Comp – Climbing Shoes

Description

La Sportiva Solution Comp – precise hooks for bouldering and climbing

The La Sportiva Solution Comp Black/Yellow is a soft men's climbing shoe for bouldering, sport climbing and competition. Its rubber toe area and tapered heel are designed for toe and heel hooks, particularly on modern gym holds and volumes.

At a glance

Toe and heel hooks: Rubber-covered toe area and a tapered heel profile.
Friction on holds: Vibram XS Grip2 with a 3.5 mm outsole.
Shape and tension: P3 System helps retain the downturned shape.
Quick adjustment: Fast Lacing System with Lock-Harness construction.

Materials and construction

The upper combines suede leather and microfibre. Pacific lining covers the toe area, while the tongue uses stretch jersey. Anatomical Hytrel support in the midfoot works with the P3 System.

Is the Solution Comp right for you?

If you use hooks regularly and want a soft shoe, the Solution Comp is worth trying on. Check that your heel stays secure when you pull on it and that the shoe holds your forefoot evenly.

Choose your size according to your foot shape and the fit you want. Your everyday shoe size alone is not a reliable guide to your climbing shoe size.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I downsize from my everyday shoes?

There is no fixed rule. Compare sizes and assess heel hold, toe position and pressure points. For personalised advice, tell us which climbing shoe model and size you currently wear.

Is this a wide-fit version?

No. La Sportiva does not classify this version as Wide Fit. Trying it on is still the best way to assess whether it suits your foot.

Can these shoes be resoled?

Yes, this model can be resoled. Have it assessed before wear extends beyond the outsole. The condition of the whole shoe determines whether a repair is possible.
