La Sportiva Ondra Comp – Unisex Climbing Shoes

Description

La Sportiva Ondra Comp – climbing shoes for modern bouldering

The La Sportiva Ondra Comp Black/Yellow is a unisex climbing shoe for indoor training and bouldering competitions. Developed with Adam Ondra, it combines an adaptable forefoot outsole with targeted support beneath the toes. Its focus is on smearing, toe hooks and heel hooks.

At a glance

Contact on volumes: SenseGrip on the forefoot outsole and rubber toe cap helps the shoe adapt to holds.
Support at the tip: 1.1 mm LaSpoFlex is positioned only beneath the toes.
Friction on footholds: Vibram XS Grip2 with a 3.5 mm outsole.
Shape retention: P3 System helps maintain the downturned profile.

Combining flexibility and support

The construction allows the foot to stretch out inside the shoe and bring more outsole area into contact with the hold. SenseGrip is used in the forefoot outsole and rubber toe cap. Localised midsole support reinforces the toe tip while the rest of the construction remains flexible.

The unlined upper combines microfibre and calf suede leather. A hook-and-loop strap secures the slipper construction. The shape is highly asymmetric with a pronounced downturn.

Is the Ondra Comp right for you?

If you regularly climb on volumes and use hooks when bouldering, this model is worth trying on. Assess the fit both while standing and while gently loading the heel and forefoot.

Choose a size that holds your foot securely without unnecessary compression. A fixed reduction from your everyday shoe size cannot replace trying the shoes on.
