EN 958:2017
Die neue Norm EN 958:2016 bringt für Klettersteiggeher ein deutlich höheres Maß an Sicherheit: - So wird ein breiteres Anwendergewicht getestet und zwar bei 40 kg als auch bei 120 kg, - die neue Norm sieht erstmals einen Test mit 120 kg bei Nässe vor, - zudem wird eine höhere statische Zugfestigkeit von 12 kN des gesamten Systems verlangt (EN 958:2011 bisher nur 9 kN), - die EN 958:2016 sieht erstmals eine maximale Zugfestigkeitsprüfung von 15 kN der nicht -elastischen Arme vor, - die neue Norm sieht erstmals einen Zyklentest zur Verschleißfe stigkeit der elastischen Arme vor.
